There were 4.4 days suitable for fieldwork in Ohio during the week ending October 7. The warm temperatures allowed farmers to keep corn harvest ahead of the 5 year average. Phenomenal progress was made in harvesting soybeans last week; fifteen percent of the crop was harvested. Even with this tremendous progress, soybean harvest lagged the 5 year average.
