Beckwith stars again at Galway

first_imgBeckwith Star (7-1) bravely landed the two-mile Easyfix Rubber Products Handicap Hurdle for a second consecutive year. Press Association Henry de Bromhead’s 10-year-old looked susceptible to Defining Year at the top of the home straight, but Dermot Weld’s inmate did not find as much as had been expected and could only finish third. Plain Sailing instead came powerfully from off the pace under Danny Mullins, but he was narrowly kept at bay by the Adam O’Neill-ridden Beckwith Star, with just a head separating the protagonists as they hit the line. center_img De Bromhead said :”For a 10-year-old he has some heart and is very straightforward. “He battled really well and he can do anything (over hurdles or fences) now as he has his job done. “Fair play to Adam, he gave him a super ride and is great value for his 5lb claim.” last_img read more

In the end it will all come out. Report Reply 0 replies · active 372 weeks ago 0 Vote up Vote down Guest · 372 weeks ago It really doesn’t matter as WPD doesn’t hand out tickets on accidents even when a driver admits fault and insurance companies don’t pay want to payl anymore anyways!! Report Reply 0 Vote up Vote down Guest · 372 weeks ago Sorry, it was late. I was involved in an accident, the other driver admitted fault for backing illegally and police didn’t give a ticket so therefore the faulty drivers insurance didn’t want to pay. What a hassle!!!! Report Reply +2 Vote up Vote down Guest · 372 weeks ago In the past month, I have seen four people who have not stopped at one of the 4-Way stops. Also, an older man (and I’m also older) drove through the stoplight at 15th and Washington going east and never looking any direction except straight ahead. I was going south on Washington, and if I had not been a very cautious driver, would have been broadsided. I suggest that the police now concentrate on observing what is happening at the 4-Way stops, etc. I am a firm believer that everyone should wear seatbelts, but perhaps we need a change of focus for a time.
