During her presentation, Jones said there are roughly 1,300 children across the province that are waiting for a permenant home. Councilor Lori Ackerman endorsed her request, stating that she herself is a grandmother of three adoptive children.- Advertisement -Members from the North Peace Restorative Justice Society asked Council to proclaim November 15th-22nd as Restorative Justice Week in Fort St. John. The Restorative Justice Program is an alternative way for victims and offenders to mitigate the effects of misdemeanor petty crimes.Mary Marcellus was the last delegation to present to council.
