AnimeExpo Attendees Can See The New Card Captor Sakura Clear Card Arc

first_imgStay on target It’s been a long time coming, but Card Captor Sakura is coming back in the form of anime this July! Sakura and the Clow Cards will be returning to the anime sphere this fall with the release of the Card Captor Sakura Clear Card Arc Prologue: Sakura and the Two Bears (an OVA) that will lead up to the Card Captor Sakura Clear Card Arc TV anime, which is poised to begin airing in January 2018.But that’s only part of the good news. This July, fans attending the Anime Expo convention in Los Angeles in July will be shown a screening of the upcoming Sakura and the Two Bears OVA, via Kodansha Comics. The OVA will be shown at Anime Expo on Saturday, July 1, welcoming audiences who will be “the first people on Earth to witness this prologue episode.” That’s pretty awesome, especially if you’re a huge Sakura fan (like yours truly.) To think that it’s in the United States is even cooler!Anime Expo Attendees Can See The New Card Captor Sakura Clear Card Arc FirstThe OVA will begin after the original series left off, so you might need to go back and watch the series again or the last few episodes to refresh your memory, and for the sake of not spoiling the show here I won’t go into it. But safe to say it was a rather juicy ending that fans will remember. The episode will only be screened one time only on July 1 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, so if you plan on seeing the episode or even being near the droves of other fans who plan on seeing it, you’ll want to make sure you’re in line to do so. You know it’s going to be packed and full to the brim. It’s worth it though, to see something that no one else is going to get to see before release.
