The annual Boardwalk Aerobatic Air Show starts at 1 p.m. Sunday (Sept. 13) over the beach and boardwalk in Ocean City between Sixth and 14th streets. SATURDAY, SEPT. 12Radio-controlled model planes gave flight demonstrations and competed in a people’s choice contest during the 2014 Ocean City Air Festival .Air Festival: The first of two free city air festivals is set for the Ocean City Municipal Airport, 26th Street and Bay Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will feature ground displays of a B-25J Mitchell Bomber and World War II Grumman TBM Avenger. There will be air demonstrations, a paper airplane contest for children, face painting and food vendors.There will be ground displays of a variety of aircraft plus military vehicles and       antique cars. The NJ Pine Barons RC Club will present exciting model airplane demonstrations with miniature jets soaring at 100 miles per hour. Helicopter and airplane rides will be available for purchase.
