The province of North Rhine-Westphalia is the most populous federal state and the largest internal market for travel within Germany. From that province, a few years ago, there was a growing interest in travel to Croatia, which is reflected in the large number of airlines from the main airports of the province, Cologne and Düsseldorf, to all Croatian airports.In order to give impetus to the sale of arrangements for the post-season, but also for the next tourist year, the CNTB Representation in Frankfurt and tour operator Olimar organized a Croatian grill party to which more than 50 employees of leading travel agencies from Düsseldorf and the surrounding area were invited. which presented the advantages of the post-season in Croatia and the offer of tour operator Olimar.The emphasis of the evening was on special forms of travel and gastronomy. The director of the CNTB’s representative office, Romeo Draghicchio, introduced the agents to news and trends in the Croatian offer, as well as to the natural and cultural sights that can motivate agency clients to decide to spend their holidays in Croatia. In the second part of the evening, Michael Kahlau presented hotels, small family hotels, excursions and cruises from the Olimar program for Croatia.Employees of the agencies expressed great interest in Croatia and noted that the idea of grilling in the still summer period of the season is a very good promotional idea, point out the CNTB. Tour operator Olimar is a privately owned company with more than 40 years of business and is one of the German medium-sized tour operators. He is primarily a specialist for Portugal and southern Europe, and for several years now they have had Croatia on the program, for which they are recording a steady increase in booking. In the current season, Croatia is the only destination that records sales growth in their arrangement.The CNTB emphasizes that a fair is also being held in Düsseldorf from August 25 to September 2. Caravanning, the largest camping fair in Europe, where all Croatian coastal counties exhibit, and the impressions from the fair are very positive.
