Students and parents interested in any college are invited to a free public presentation on the financial aid process at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 2.Washington State University Vancouver’s “Scholarships 101” will be held in the Dengerink Administration building, room 110. WSU Vancouver is at 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave.Free parking is available in Orange 1 lot.The Scholarships 101 workshop is for all college-bound students. The workshop will cover where to find the best scholarships, how to write award-winning essays and deadlines for various scholarships.Seventy-five percent of WSU Vancouver students receive some form of financial aid, grant or scholarship.
